After dabbling in Needlepoint for over a decade, I decided to take the leap and launch my needlepoint line from my one-bedroom apartment in Austin, Texas, at the 2024 Fall Needlepoint Market. I’ve always loved the heirloom quality and feminine touches of vintage needlepoint and there is nothing that I love more than the juxtaposition of pairing a snarky, sassy phrase with a feminine design. Pairing this with inspiration from my hobbies, travels, and anything else in life that brings me joy, I work to blend feminine artistry with contemporary aesthetics. I hope Maura Nolan Designs provides you with a variety of needlepoint designs that give an elevated and modern twist to some of that heirloom needlepoint that our grandma loved.
